Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a female found at 4000 Katy Freeway (West Interstate Highway 10) about 12:40 p.m. on Monday (September 7).
The identity of the female is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Rodriguez and Officer D. Stark reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a call regarding a roll-over accident at the above location, near the Taylor Road exit. Officers arrived and found a female in the brush near a vehicle. At this time, it appears the female was struck by the vehicle as it rolled off the freeway. However, that will not be confirmed until autopsy results determine her cause of death.
