Houston police are investigating a fatal crash at 1500 Greens Road about 11:40 p.m. on Wednesday (June 15).
The male victim, 42, a pedestrian, was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Vehicular Crimes Division Sergeant C. Williams and Senior Police Officer J. Gaona reported:
The victim was walking in a moving lane of traffic on Greens Road when he was struck by a silver Nissan Sentra. The driver stopped, contacted police and remained at the scene. He was questioned and released.
The investigation is continuing.
