Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 5840 Glenmont about 1 p.m. on Sunday (May 8).
The victim, Jose Antonio Hernandez, 34, of the above address, was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Hassig and Officer T. Ferguson reported:
Mr. Hernandez was drinking with friends in his apartment complex parking lot when he was approached by an unknown suspect armed with a shotgun. The suspect fired at Hernandez, striking him multiple times, before fleeing the scene.
