Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 906 Greens Road about 7:40 p.m. on Monday (Nov. 9).
The victim, Ezequiel Gutierrez, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene.
HPD Homicide Division Officers I. Ulloa and E. Wohlgemuth reported:
Mr. Gutierrez and witnesses were approached by numerous unknown black males in an apartment complex parking lot at the above address. One of the males pulled a pistol and demanded Gutierrez and the witnesses empty their pockets. When they refused, an altercation ensued and the victim was shot. The suspects fled the scene. Paramedics arrived and pronounced Gutierrez deceased.
